Introduction

The Ark Community Church has always been involved in Christian ministry in other nations. For many years Bruce and Sharon Oliver have been visiting like minded churches in other parts of the world.

These include the Full Gospel Churches in Uganda, the Deliverance Church in Kenya, the Sion Fellowship in Hyderabad, India, the Immanuel Christian Fellowship in Chennai, India, and the New  Testament Church in Perm, Siberia, Russia.

During the last 10 years, mission teams of up to 24 people have been sent from the church to these nations and also to Egypt, Ghana and the USA. They were involved in various activities including community work, conducting church services and organising large open-air healing and worship festivals. They have also taught seminars and run evangelistic events, and highly successful childrens work. Our mission has always been to advance the Christian faith and to demonstrate God’s love and compassion to those who are in need and in difficult circumstances.

Bruce is a well known speaker at public festivals, churches  and gatherings of up to 10,000 people in India, Uganda and Kenya, where crowds will come to hear the message of God’s saving and healing power, and to see a demonstration of God’s touch as individuals are prayed for.

At these events opportunity is given for people to respond to the gospel and to make a personal commitment to follow Jesus. Bruce always offers to pray for those who are sick and it is common to see the power of curses and evil spirits broken off the lives of those in the meetings.

Members of the mission team help at these events and are often impacted as they observe God’s power to save people from their sins, heal the sick, and set people free from demonic control.
