As a church we believe that God answers prayer. Over the years there have been many testimonies at the Ark of how God has answered specific prayer. It is our desire that prayer should become an increasing priority in the life of our church.
During the week there are opportunities for people to meet together to pray in homes. There is an early morning prayer meeting at 6am which meets weekly at the Church of the Ascension (Tin church) in Bedmond for one hour. Those who come to the church are encouraged to pray on their own and as a family for at least 10 minutes or more every day. There is a monthly prayer schedule which gives topics to pray for, and a daily Bible verse to read. Each month every member is prayed for by name.
From time to time, the leaders will call the church to pray for matters of significance in our nation, in the local community, or for particular issues that affect the life of individuals at The Ark. Church members will sometimes fast together for specific breakthrough in intercessory prayer.

Prayer requests can be sent in to the church by email, post or through the offering at Sunday services. There is a simple prayer card system which means that requests are handed on to the different prayer groups and home groups to pray for these needs. The prayer cards are always available on Sundays from the information table and these can be handed in at the offering time.
God’s plan is to prosper you and give you a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29 verse 11). Jesus himself said ‘I have come that you may have life and have it to the full’ (John 10 verse 10). The promises are there but we need to pray and believe them for ourselves.
